The issue where many tasks have been sent to the BOINC client but only one runs is being investigated. The number of tasks per day per user has been reduced from 500 to 20 in an attempt to reduce the impact. This is probably why only a few jobs are running as the clients are now blocked from getting a new task that may run. A project reset might fix this or maybe not. If anyone has any information that may help, please post. |

This is all you have to say for 2 days of investigation? Try reading the current issues thread. A project reset might fix this or maybe not. You must be joking. Apparently, you have done nothing, judging from your post. |

... but only one runs ... I wish that 'single task' running was true. No single task is running and I think that's the case for almost all volunteers here. |

Tasks will not run, because the boinc free disk space is not recognized correctly. Project sends to many tasks in one scheduler request. See "Current issues" thread for details. Check server (boinc) settings for decimal point entry faults (i.e. 10 instead of 1.0) or incorrect number of digits. Workplan tasks need to be prioritized. If server is not providing or accepting tasks correctly, all other issues are of lower priority. |

Can't blame me this time since I quit on January 27th. |

The problem seems to have been related to the job templates used to create the tasks. These have been fixed and new tasks created. |
