Hi everybody I just got for my very first (big) WU for my iMac but it's not running well : tail: /home/boinc/stderr: file truncated tail: /home/boinc/stderr: file truncated tail: /home/boinc/stderr: file truncated tail: /home/boinc/stderr: file truncated etc repeating all the time in the console, [37m[17/03/15 22:01:24] ERROR:root:No message received! Nothing to do![0m all the time in the CMSJobAgent-stderr.log I guess I have to abort it... |

Jerome, looks like the CMS job queue is empty. Nothing wrong with your setup. |

Ah too bad I already aborted it, but there was also another reason : there was also a vLHC task running, and during the night the CMS task ended in the most hatred "unmanageable" state, I have this problem whenever (but not always) two VM based project run at the same time (Ben I think you know about that). So for the moment I set vLHC and Atlas to "no more work" (RNA doesn't have any at the moment I think) and I raised CMS resource share, so I hope to get another task soon and see what happens. |

I didn't have to abort. The task ended in computation error. The last I saw in the Alt-F1 screen was a segmentation fault. Maybe after suspending the task and resuming the virtual HD and/or snapshot were not longer accessible. The wrapper did remove the VM, but wasn't able to cleanup the vm_cache.vdi and snapshot. Maybe the CMS-project team could consider to use vboxwrapper version 26155 like VirtualLHC is doing. |

I got a second WU at noon and it seems much better, there are big juicy logs inside the VM full of interesting things, the console looks much better too and the CPU is happily crunching :) |
