Task not starting, shutting down

A task finished, but new tasks would not start properly. I did a project reset. Tasks are running for about 7 min and shut down over and over. 2016-04-14 19:24:34 (4504): Guest Log: [ERROR] App is not supported. Shutting down! |

Was just about to post similar. 4 in a row, all marked as success and awarded 2 - 4 credits for the 7mins "work". Only the 4? Starter logs appear on the machine logs page. VM created and shut down (if that's what's being tested with these). Initial Time Remaining Estimate of only 80mins. Replacement on that host is an LHCb so no more prodding around there till 2moro. And on the other host, a long one finished, replaced by one of these short ones, and again by a LHCb. Anything we should look for and save from the logs that might be of assistance? |

Yes, this is the new procedure we invoke when there are no jobs in the queue and hence no VM activity. It's to avoid the situation we still have on the production T4T system where a task runs (even up to 24 hours) but no real work is being done by the VM. We are working to produce a user-level error message when this happens. Jobs are being put in the queue again now... |
