It think that this is in the stdout. I was trying to make it print the exit code of the jobs but there is obviously something that is not working.

Yes it's confusing:

In the logs it's in the stdout.log, when still running it's on my disk in the slot directory in stderr.txt and when finished it's on your server in the stderr output of BOINC's task details.

Lovely! So we have a logging function that sends the message to both stdout and vboxmonitor simultaneously. BOINC considers the messages in the Guest log (from vboxmonitor) as stderr.

vboxmonitor sends the messages to VBox.log underneath the slot directory.
VBoxwrapper is searching every few seconds in VBox.log for "Guest Log" and if found a difference that 'new lines' are added to stderr.txt.

The header is there, but the text is missing.

Tasks a few days old still have it.

I just checked mine and the latest one did the same thing.

No stderr and only the header Stderr output
