The BOINC scheduler has been updated to detect 64 bit machines that do not have the virtualization hardware extensions enabled. Also vboxwrapper has been updated for better error handling, and vboxwrapper 26193 is now deployed for Windows and Linux for the Theory application. Many thanks to RomW for providing these changes! |

Computer-ID 1263: OpenSuse 13.2(x64)-Guest - Boinc 7.2.42 with Virtualbox 5.0.20. under Win 10(x64)pro Host with Virtualbox 5.0.16. Virtualbox jobs require hardware acceleration support. AMD-V is shown as active in Virtualbox 5.0.16 Session for the Guest-OS. This is a very useful message, thank you Rom. |

Yesterday, have Acceleration (SVM for AMD) on the Mainboard switched off for a test. Task 205814, Workunit 195668 on Computer 1165. This task was downloaded under Windows without the Acceleration-Error-Message. If there is interesting to see the result. The message in OpenSuse-Linux Guest was ok (Acceleration not active). EDIT: Have started a new task with Acceleration under Windows: <core_client_version>7.6.22</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> Der Ring 2-Stapel wird bereits verwendet. (Ring-2 is in use?) (0xcf) - exit code 207 (0xcf) </message> <stderr_txt> There was a ATLAS-Task running together with this Task. |
