Fails to get x509 credential. The web server doesn't seem to be running so can't get to the logs.

The host is using a direct connection to CVMFS.

CPU low - Duration ok.

something with using https - Connection?

Win xp(x86)pro is using https connection for vLHC-dev.
The same x509 as by m.

This error may be due to it trying to use the 64bit version of the grid-proxy-info command rather than the 32bit version. Will investigate.

is it possible that:

The authentication service is currently down.

I am trying to run the 32-bit image on a 64-bit host (no VT-x).
I do get tasks and lots of credits, but it is not doing any work.
CPU is running on full, but no MCplots nor any entries in stderr.txt

I didn't know we had this here and I do have that XP Pro X86 over at vLHC that I will try one on here.

looks like I have a different wrapper vboxwrapper (7.7.2617)

It runs the 32bit version over at vLHC 24/7 since that started with no problems

I guess I shouldn't have tried this.....back to work over at vLHC

I've just tried (again) to get it to run on a 32 bit host (WXP) VB5.0.12
Still fails like this:-

It should be 7.7.2619x

Please don't run the 32 bit image from here. Only at vLHC@home and then LHC@home once it has been migrated.

I was hoping the X86 would make it over to the LHC

That way a certain #1 computer from vLHC will get to continue doing what it has better than any other over the last 6 years 😎

I am running 32-bit tasks at lhc@home(no VT-x).

A LOT of time is wasted by tasks hitting the 18h mark, therefore not finishing the last job,loosing at least 6h of computing time.
(This also applies to 64-bit tasks)

About 3 out of 12 tasks are ending that way.(in my case)

This issue has been known for lots of months, yet nothing appears to have happened, to address this.

Is there any intention to make improvements or is admin happy, that it "kind of works good enough"?

I have been using a 32-bit image for months.
Since beginning of today, credentials are not working any more.

Can anyone fix that,please?
