WHY does ,the server keep trying to get me to d/l the LHCb .vdi lately? I don't have a internet speed fast enough to d/l that in less than 10 hours AND none of my computers have the preferences set to ask for these tasks. I am only set to run Theory and CMS tasks. (I can copy and paste the preference page if you need that) On my stats page error list it only shows a previous one that I aborted and it doesn't show the one I aborted 5 minutes ago. Of course as of yesterday my crooked ISP slowed me down for the next 2 weeks since I used up all of my 20GB and 50GB bonus d/l data just doing Cern work in 15 days. So now I just have to do speed checks to see if it is going fast enough to start up the VB tasks (beyond HTCondor ping) Mad Scientist For Life ![]() |

After stopping LHCb-task Vers.1.00, because of Condor disconnection, the next task is a Vers.1.01 (multicore). After this task finished it runs again with Vers.1.00. The last interrupt in this way got a long multi-core-task with 33 Points after 8 hours runtime. Maybe this is from interest: https://lhcathomedev.cern.ch/lhcathome-dev/result.php?resultid=369548 |

I have depreciated v1.00 so you should not get it again. |
