I have 2 finished Theory X2 tasks that are finished and they refuse to return to the server. I tried to do a reboot and see if that worked and still no luck. Haven't made it upstairs to check all the other pc's running these same tasks. The server status looks ok. I just got 2 new tasks and they started with no problem. Mad Scientist For Life |

....after further review It has done this on all my finished Theory X2 tasks here and I also can not get any more new tasks. So I switched them all back over to LHC and those are working with no problems both ways. (checking the log and it started doing this about 3 hours ago) Mad Scientist For Life |

Sorry this was our fault, we had left an old vLHCathome-dev url in the schedulers.txt file in the BOINC file hierarchy. This is now fixed, please do a project reset and update from the BOINC client to refresh the scheduler settings. |

I hope you don't mean to abort about 14 finished tasks. Mad Scientist For Life |

Please try update first, and then reset if update is not enough. |

Please try update first, and then reset if update is not enough. Yes I tried update several times on each computer with no luck and they just stayed here so I gave up and did the *reset* and of course they all disappeared and I got new tasks ( for some reason my DSL is slow at 3 and 4am so none are running yet since they all will have to d/l) And 4am is about the end of my day so I will check back later (I can't even get LHC tasks to start because of that 10min 45sec time limit to get the Condor connection and the credentials and HTCondor ping) Mad Scientist For Life |

(I can't even get LHC tasks to start because of that 10min 45sec time limit to get the Condor connection and the credentials and HTCondor ping) We can try to increase this value but I think it is hard-coded into the vbox wrapper so we may have to provide a new one. |

(I can't even get LHC tasks to start because of that 10min 45sec time limit to get the Condor connection and the credentials and HTCondor ping) Yes you are probably right Laurence and it was probably in all the wrappers It has always been my main problem with these VB tasks and I have done thousands and now I have even more computers at home just to do more. But since it is always a problem with Oracle VB (been more trouble for me than any program in my entire computing life) It is like netscape on Windows 95 with a dialup on a bad day. With my 9 computers I should be able to turn in 80 Valids every day. (of course I have no problem with GPU tasks for Einstein up and down loading and running the tasks instantly) I have been doing VB updates and wrapper updates since March 2011 Sure would be nice to get these tasks and run them without watching every task and hope they start while looking at the VM Console Mad Scientist For Life |
