CERN want to update the WMAgent we use to submit CMS@Homejobs. This is tentatively scheduled for Thursday. I'll let the queue drain, and possibly kill off some of the smaller batches I've been submitting to get me finer timing control. I expect that we can go another 24 hours before I start draining the queue, but keep an eye on the running jobs graph and be prepared to set No New Tasks when you see it dipping -- or do it beforehand if you really want to protect your daily job quotas. More news as details become firmer. |

My best estimate at the moment is that the queue will start to drain Thursday morning, and should be dry within a couple of hours. |

Thanks for the notice. What is the estimate, when jobs will be available again? |

Thanks for the notice. Before the end of the day, I would hope. Once the queue's drained enough for the update to take place, that should happen quite quickly. Then it's just a matter of my being notified to submit a new batch, and then an hour or two for the jobs to start appearing on the Condor server. |

Another couple of hours yet -- Alan got caught in a lengthy meeting. |

WMAgent is updated and I've submitted a test batch. However, there's a warning about an expired proxy certificate that I've alerted Alan to. I'll keep monitoring. [Edit] The message was a red herring. Jobs are now available and my servers have started grabbing them. [/Edit] |
