Just grabbed the first of these WUs.

The first ones ran only 5 minutes so I think something is wrong (or they use new ports in the firewall)

PS.: I have changed my firewall-rules regarding CERN and allowed all ports but the WU still run only 5 minutes

What do you think about these settings?

Setting Memory Size for VM. (3600MB)
Setting CPU Count for VM. (2)

Not much, I already tested it as 4-Core-WU and it finished also after 5 minutes

Same bad (valid) result as you, but without the files listed:

in your logs?
Should that not be a native linux app without the need of virtual box?

Sorry, but no, this is a normal Atlas-WU in VirtualBox.

If it were a Native-Linux-App I never could run it as I don't have any Linux machines

True! Also in Applications it says:
0.40 (vbox64_mt_mcore_atlas) (beta test)

But according to this (4 months old) post, it should be: https://lhcathomedev.cern.ch/lhcathome-dev/forum_thread.php?id=348.

Maybe they changed their mind or are testing something else at the moment.

Hi,

Sorry for the silence :) We are testing a new workflow at the moment but it is not yet working here on LHC-dev so that's why the app is still in beta. So it's best not to run these WU until we have fixed it and we have taken it out of beta.

Thank you David for the info.

Can you take a look of the tasks.

mc16_13TeV 70 is since weeks at 65.600 and

mc16_13TeV MAXHTPTV500_1000 have only 10% free. The weekend is coming ;-)

Task mc16_13TeV MAXHTPTV500_1000.simul (11364822): 108174/120000
Task mc16_13TeV 70_BFilter.simul (11283914): 65600/174950

Just an update on this version. For various reasons some of the WU run for a much shorter time than expected. The should run for around 3 hours (independent of no of cores) but I see many exit after 30 mins. We are working on ways to fix this, more news soon.
