The LHCb_2017_05_05.xml coming from the project has a memory size set to 2048, but the server has configured 'only' 730MB to create the VM with.

What's the right value? The 730MB from the server overrules the xml-file-setting.

The python process did not survive a Task-suspend (LAIM off) of 46 minutes.

At least after the restore I saw python running > 144 minutes, but after a while that process was gone, without writing in stderr.txt that a job was finished.

After the python process from user "nobody" was gone, no new job is fetched.

I stopped the task gracefully -> https://lhcathomedev.cern.ch/lhcathome-dev/result.php?resultid=346528

Must have been written a bit later:

The next one started with the same preferences and is running as singlecore Version 1.00!

The production version on lhcathome.cern.ch obeys the 2048MB RAM from the xml-file.

Since I am still up at 3am I decided to try this myself just to show it is not just you Axel and I got the same thing with these LHCb's, CMS and the Theory tasks

8/18/2017 2:52:58 AM | lhcathome-dev | Giving up on download of CMS_2017_01_13.vdi: permanent HTTP error
8/18/2017 2:11:52 AM | lhcathome-dev | Resetting file projects/lhcathomedev.cern.ch_lhcathome-dev/vboxwrapper_26198ab7_windows_x86_64.exe: permanent HTTP error

I am just restarting this computer that I had resting for a month or two but it had no problem getting Theory tasks from over at the LHC site and they are running like they should.

(getting blurry eyes staring at these monitors but will take a quick look at all the other hosts I have running here)

.......goodnight

The Computer crashed 17/9/15 20.35 UTC and finished the task 17/9/16 7.27 UTC
after a new start of the Computer.

From my side, there are no changes made.

The begin of the task shows a wrong vboxwrapper or a problem with it or the guestAddition, don't know.

https://lhcathomedev.cern.ch/lhcathome-dev/result.php?resultid=362460

Now get LHCb 1.00, so as in preferences set and it work normally!

Laurence,

after the stop of Vers.1.00, you get for 8 hours work only 30 Cobblestones.
Is it possible to make a correction to maybe 8hours 8*30 = 240 Cobblestones?
