I'm using temporary an app_info.xml to test BOINC's newest vboxwrapper version 26202
When requesting a task the request fails with
143	lhcathome-dev	20 May 13:37:33	Scheduler request failed: HTTP internal server error

The sched_reply_lhcathomedev.cern.ch_lhcathome-dev.xml returns with the following content:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<html><head>
<title>500 Internal Server Error</title>
</head><body>
<h1>Internal Server Error</h1>
<p>The server encountered an internal error or
misconfiguration and was unable to complete
your request.</p>
<p>Please contact the server administrator at
 boinc-server-admin@cern.ch to inform them of the time this error occurred,
 and the actions you performed just before this error.</p>
<p>More information about this error may be available
in the server error log.</p>
</body></html>

Could you find something in the server error log?

To easily track an ongoing discussion, from start to end.

Here is my original thread for reference:

The only extra information in the log is:
[Mon May 20 13:37:34.908407 2019] [cgi:error] [pid 428675] [client 77.165.255.216:1744] End of script output before headers: cgi

I see this too but it might not be related.

Updating my client to the server without asking tasks is not a problem. I get a normal reply and the server notes my host's last contact.
When requesting work I get the lhcathome-dev 22 May 19:15:52 Scheduler request failed: HTTP internal server error and the server does not note the last contact.
My used app_info.xml:
<app_info>
 <app>
  <name>Theory</name>
 </app>
 <file_info>
  <name>vboxwrapper_26202_windows_x86_64.exe</name>
  <executable/>
 </file_info>
 <file_info>
  <name>Theory_2019_02_20.xml</name>
 </file_info>
 <file_info>
  <name>Theory_2019_02_20.vdi</name>
 </file_info>
 <file_info>
  <name>cranky-0.0.21</name>
  <executable/>
 </file_info>
 <app_version>
  <app_name>Theory</app_name>
  <version_num>416</version_num>
  <platform>windows_x86_64</platform>
  <avg_ncpus>1.000000</avg_ncpus>
  <plan_class>vbox64_mt_mcore</plan_class>
  <api_version>7.7.0</api_version>
  <cmdline>--memory_size_mb 730</cmdline>
  <file_ref>
   <file_name>vboxwrapper_26202_windows_x86_64.exe</file_name>
   <main_program/>
  </file_ref>
  <file_ref>
   <file_name>Theory_2019_02_20.xml</file_name>
   <open_name>vbox_job.xml</open_name>
  </file_ref>
  <file_ref>
   <file_name>cranky-0.0.21</file_name>
   <open_name>cranky</open_name>
   <copy_file/>
  </file_ref>
  <file_ref>
   <file_name>Theory_2019_02_20.vdi</file_name>
   <open_name>vm_image.vdi</open_name>
   <copy_file/>
  </file_ref>
  <dont_throttle/>
  <needs_network/>
 </app_version>
</app_info>

I tried an app_info.xml with the Enigma@Home project and then I don't get the server error, but 'No tasks available', what's correct.
