I'm playing around with running ATLAS tasks in a docker container, and running singularity inside the container is not possible without running docker in privileged mode. And since the docker container is itself the environment the ATLAS tasks need there is no need to run another container inside. So I removed the need for singularity if the OS is CentOS/Red Hat 7. Once I have the docker container working I will let everyone know in case you want to try it. There is already a docker container for boinc-client but the ATLAS version will take care of setting up CVMFS so you don't even need to have that installed on the host, and automatically connect to the project without having to use a separate tool like BOINC manager. |
