Took a little break over Christmas and I'm ready to get back into dev, but my first CMS workunit is invalid. Looks like they have workunits being created but not working? or is it just my systems? Want to give me a shout when its back up and running silky smooth? Cheers -wes |

I was wondering where you were Wes Yes we are all having problems here with CMS and Theory and as usual I have to get out my crayons and tell them what is going on with these and still no reply or repair. I checked the other members stats and we are all just wasting time here right now so I have switched back to just running Sixtracks over at LHC since it doesn't depend on internet speed and I have some running Einsteins just to get a higher total since January 18th I start my 16th year there non-stop DAMN that sounds insane......I never did that at any job where I actually made money But I will let you know when things start working here again and I may just email Laurence since he seems to be on a vacation and maybe Ivan too since CMS is his project. Happy New Year Wes and of course -Samson |

I started running the CMS here and some at LHC at the same time and they are actually running Valids lately as long as you have the internet speed to run very many. I tried to space mine out so they have the speed to get them running and once they start they don't require as much speed. So far the best I can do is 5 here and one at LHC at the same time.........until they restock the Sixtracks and then I will get back to doing that for Eric McIntosh ( he will be 80 on May 19th) Single-core CMS tasks work but as of right now the multi-core will not. But.....CMS is basically working no matter how many cores you use......not that they run separate jobs. Ran a few hundred and only one server screw-up so far. Heavy Rescue: 401 Highway Thru Hell tonight |

CMS is basically working.........not sure why we still run them since they probably will never move to the public or be multi-core but it has been one year running with a few updates. Mad Scientist For Life |

Oh just great The day after I say things are working fine with the CMS wth happens? I get on here at 2am to start my usual 24 cores and find it is ANOTHER update and now wasting the high speed I have left d/l the 1.46GB vdi I am only doing one tonight and take care of the rest tomorrow if I have the time. Good God if I don't check the message boards here several times a day THIS happens. Mad Scientist For Life |
