For Windows 10 X64 all you do is update BOINC.
Worked the same with Win 7 X64

Suspend your work and then X-out your current version of BOINC and update to this version and reboot and all your finished tasks will go to Cern servers and leave your BOINC Manager Tasks finished page and then continue your work and they will return when finished as usual.

Didn't have to make a new Boinc version to get the few X86 tasks sent back (Sixtracks)

They need to just stop sending the X86 work if they don't want any problems with those ( I never have any with the one I have been running since the beginning)
