Where I wish I had 10,000 Sixtracks to run. Magic Quantum Mechanic Mad Scientist For Life |

Well I did get 7,551 Sixtracks which is actually a record in my 18 years or running them with Eric McIntosh who is a good friend. BUT even though I am the first human out here in Boincland that got these VB tasks to actually work way back in the first week of March 2011 and have been running them every day 11 years and yet no matter what I say on a post a certain person I won't name has to make some stupidass reply to me acting like he is explaining how things work like I am some beginner on his game player.' Good lord I am almost 65 years old and former owner of an electronics company and microwave communications engineer and took semiconductor device theory at Virginia Tech and Cosmology at the UW and have been building computers since we didn't even have the internet yet. AND of course high energy physics and been one of the very few doing Alpha and Beta testing all the projects and HE was not a member of the Alpha testing but over and over I have to put up with his BS Many times over the years it just gets me back to helping newer members via pm's so I don't have to put up with all his BS telling ME how things work here........I don't EVER need it and NEVER ask questions since I don't need any help here. And if I really want to discuss the subjects and projects and CERN in general or just life it is better to just email the guys who actually have a job at Cern and not some supposed "tester" who actually doesn't do anything (in fact we have two of them here) All it takes is to look at what I have done since I don't hide my computers AND whos name is at the top of the stats page? Just like at the beginning at Test4Theory it is ME. And I am the ONLY person that actually watches the damn logs run to see how they are doing and make sure they are actually doing something .....in fact I watched the 3 8-cores I started up for 5 hours and see they are not running a subtask and I could just abort them since on those pc's I do have some Sixtracks to finish.......but I will let them run and send back and then run another batch tomorrow at 2am and if Ivan did the update they will actually run some subtasks and do something in this never-ending CMS testing that actually never goes to the public without me updating the vdi's over and over........another thing that that guy and his pet Squid thinks he knows all about over here on the opposite side of the planet via satellite acting like we get a server out in our yard.......it may be that easy in Germany but guess what......we have 325 million people on the internet 24/7 so they can watch tv and play games and screw around so Hughes satellite does not just hand me a complete vdi to toss at all my pc's It doesn't work that way no matter wtf he says. ....and of course tried it and even worked with a HUghes tech since I am a bleeping engineer. OK it is almost 5;30am so I am done talking to myself about that jackass. |

Well after running 2 sets of 3 of the CMS that did run the subtasks , today they seem to be back to doing nothing again. 4.5 hours in and still no work in the Logs Of course I will check again in a couple hours and see if I should suspend again. |

CMS 60.70 sure has been running with no problems since last November Surprised they didn't change it and make me update the vdi again (jinx) LOL and the very next day we run out of CMS so I would NOT be surprised if we get a new version vdi |
