BTW since I am half awake I have been wondering about how things are going as far as Xsuite and Combined CPU - GPU simulations And just what will be used to do this in the future. I got this afternoon 5 Xtrack beam simulation tasks. Hi! I Got some of these test units for Xtrack beam today, some resends(several all ready reached 3 copies(too many results total)). both Linux and Windows are failing with the same error as Chrystal Pellet had: <core_client_version>7.20.2</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> (unknown error) - exit code 4294967295 (0xffffffff)</message> <stderr_txt> 12:48:27 (25712): app started; CPU time 20.000000, flags: 12:48:27 (25712): Couldn't find input file, resolved name xboinc_input.bin. </stderr_txt> ]]> With regards, H. I was wondering why the server says that there are 12 In progress Well I have 4 of them on my laptop that the cpu time is STILL increasing despite them saying that are just over 47 minutes they were at 100%, I suspended 2 of them, they are not taking alot of memory for each task, and the other 2 tasks are now at 21+ hours each and STILL GOING!! The cpu time IS increasing the the stderr file doesn't have anything fancy in it just task started mikey |

I was wondering why the server says that there are 12 In progress And almost 24 hours later they are STILL going!!! No checkpoints since the very beginning of the tasks but the seconds just keep on clicking by. |

Hi I got a batch of CPU Xtrack beam simulation v0.02 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu on a debian VPS and they all fail instantly (example) <core_client_version>7.20.5</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> process got signal 11</message> <stderr_txt> SIGSEGV: segmentation violation </stderr_txt> ]]> Are there some prerequisites / packages to install ? Does this ring a bell to anyone ? |

Hi No special packages.......they just aren't doing anything and I haven't seen a finished Valid in this current batch. All I got was ERR_TOO_MANY_EXITS |
