I don't know what the expected behaviour of these is so here are my observations in the hope that they are helpful:
I had a successful 20 second Xtrack yesterday, where the wingmen completed in similar time but with error, and another running since yesterday. Progress 100%, 33hrs elapsed, none remaining. In Properties, CPU Time and Since last checkpoint are ~1/2 hr behind Elapsed Time but, in the slot, stderr says
12:29:53 (13692): app started; CPU time 20.000000, flags:
but nothing has been written to any of the slot files since yesterday. It's using all of one core. The wingman completed in 2.05s so I suspect it is stuck.
A restart of Boinc reset the clocks
Initial estimate of 3?mins 50% reached at 2mins but progress, and time remaining, getting progressively slower. 91% at 7mins. 99.60% at 23mins, remaining 00:00:00. Using ~70% of a core. 99.999% at 33mins. 100% at 45mins. Using almost all of a core and I'll let it do that overnight but I expect it will have to be euthanised tomorrow.

This is the very first version of the app, launched in September.
Since September have been a lot of Xtrack releases, but the boinc app is not updated as well

Sorry for the lack of communication. The Xtrack application is a new version of Sixtrack which supports GPUs. It is currently work in progress. The current status is that the application has been deployed correctly in the server and seems to be running. We hope to continue testing within the next few weeks.

Mine seems stuck also

I don't have any AMD GPUs, will it work with nVidia too?

I don't think they are actually ready for testing yet.
The few I have seen weren't running on a video card and the ones running off the amd cpu didn't actually do anything.

But we always have plenty of CMS and Theory to run.

https://lhcathomedev.cern.ch/lhcathome-dev/results.php?hostid=4601&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=16

You can see Laurence tested them and they don't actually do anything.
And another example https://lhcathomedev.cern.ch/lhcathome-dev/show_host_detail.php?hostid=4818

I have both versions of GPU runners but they don't get used on these yet.

Two Xtracks that I'm about to euthanise 2283960 and 2283961. Both completed on Linux in a couple of seconds but the Windows wingman Aborted after 2 days. Is that significant? Mine (Windows) are 29 and 21 hours respectively. Both have been using all of a core each but I'm pretty sure they haven't actually done anything.

This host only has onboard graphics. Are these supposed to only go to proper GPUs ?

Boboviz's github link looks far to technical for me. If setting all that up is required to get these running, I'll set to not accept these for now and just go back to Theory tasks.

I just leave mine, its only 1 core, its using some CPU so it could be doing something. then the FLOPS esitmate is wrong?

Posted my evaluation of the 38 I have running here: https://lhcathomedev.cern.ch/lhcathome-dev/forum_thread.php?id=557&postid=7927

The 33 still running are over 2 days into the run and deadline sometime in 24 hours.

These are supposed to need a GPU co-proc?
If true, then their GPU detection/self-aborting, code is not functioning.

Aborted the resends I got. They are running endless.
I let one run overnight: https://lhcathomedev.cern.ch/lhcathome-dev/result.php?resultid=3191964

Yes I have one that claims to still be running at 100% for over an hour so I probably should just abort it too.

Mine ran past the deadline with no end, so I guess there is no termination routine yet.

I'm not sure why I haven't received any other Xtrack tasks yet, but my first and only task appears to be bad as well.

It has run anywhere from about 5 hours to about 30 hours several times, and then it resets back to zero again without any errors reported in the logs. It looks like a few other people have also had trouble with this task.

Looked at some of the WU's , that are labeled as able to work on Linux or Windows, and some of these hitting Linux are completing and validating with 3 sec CPU runtime.
When they hit a Windows OS, they fail and don't end at deadline.
