I took a quick look at your stderr's and what you are running (Linux isn't my field) but you sure need to add some Ram to your pc to run Atlas the way you are running them with Ryzen 3 3100 8 threads and only 3.8 GB of Ram

ATLAS_vbox_3.01_job.xml file has this in it when i windows boinc started download of 8 threaded vbox wu.
<vbox_job>
<os_name>Linux26_64</os_name>
<memory_size_mb>4000</memory_size_mb>
<enable_network/>
<enable_remotedesktop/>
<enable_shared_directory/>
<copy_to_shared>init_data.xml</copy_to_shared>
<completion_trigger_file>atlas_done</completion_trigger_file>
<disable_automatic_checkpoints/>
<enable_vm_savestate_usage/>
<minimum_checkpoint_interval>900</minimum_checkpoint_interval>
<pf_guest_port>80</pf_guest_port>
<multiattach_vdi_file>ATLAS_vbox_3.01_image.vdi</multiattach_vdi_file>
</vbox_job>
Note <memory_size_mb>
Looks like version 3.01 needs less memory than previous version.
I think if 8 core Virtualbox vm for 3.01 is set to use 4 gb, then i will set my 8 core vmware vm to use 4 gb.

Looks like native tasks run well now, but I'm still ironing out a few issues with the vbox version.

I'm running Windows pc's mostly and they seem to returning Atlas 3.01 vbox tasks without any problems so far

Hello

I got a few Atlas native tasks that ended successfully and gave (a very little) bit of credits, like this one, but BoincTasks tells me they used little CPU (like 30%) and I see plenty of messages in the stderr log that don't look very nice (but they are not errors, mostly warnings), and I'm unsure if it is actually "doing something useful" ?

Any thoughts ?

Since David Cameron left CERN there's no BOINC development for ATLAS.

The tasks you get are created by an automatic loop and contain just a few test events.
Once the queue is empty the same tasks are created again.
Even if a task returns valid results those are not used in a scientific matter.

Decide yourself whether it makes sense to run ATLAS -dev until CERN officially resumes development here.

Oh I had not seen your answer, thanks !

So of course I'm going to block atlas until further notice.

Are prod atlas tasks still useful?

Although HITS files were successfully produced, these two tasks were validated as an error:
