I looked around at many of them both Valid and Pending and they all seem to have that same stderr for Windows but I don't see that at a Linux I am looking at right now

And it looks like the OS is the difference since that pc is not one you would expect to be able to do anything with a VB task and is like the old pc's for Sixtracks we first had running 15+ years ago

Win11pro start an Ubuntu inside.
wsl -v in CMD get info for Ubuntu.

My longest so far was 3 days 6 hours

Got 1 finished in 9 hours on a i7-1165G7 with Win11. The ones running in parallel are still going strong at around 20 hours

2 more finished in 12-13 hours on a Ryzen 7 5825U with Mint 22.1, the others also keep running at around 20 hours.

I have many of them over 100 hours each still pending (90)

It looks like the "progress" time is working better now instead of running at 100% in a couple minutes

I now have 4 tasks that past the deadline, on the site it seems they are still pending and not cancelled

Mine are only 42, but i have some wus pending since 09/12....8 days ago!! :-O

Pretty much all my tasks have the same wingman.
Doesn't look good at all.

They are completely distorting boinc time estimation because all the tasks downloaded are estimated to 39mn calculation, so boinc will keep them extremely close to the deadline and let them start when there is no way they can meet the deadline.

I do hope they all get finally credited, but there is something very wrong in the way they are handled.

Consider yourself lucky with your wingmen. Mine still hasn't finished a single task out of almost 2000 and over 1000 have timed out.

The newer ones I'm getting were aborted by both initial users, but task #3 is unsent so there's no chance for my results to validate in the near future.

There are also cases like this, where one of the original tasks for aborted, one is finished, but the third replicate remains unsent for over 2 days. Again, long wait for any potential validation.
