Just tried it with BOINC 8.2.15, but I found: No local HTTP proxy found. The HTTP-Proxy is defined in the BOINC-Client and so far, as I have seen, this should now be transported to the underlaying (Theory-) App Example: https://lhcathomedev.cern.ch/lhcathome-dev/result.php?resultid=3798229 |

Same here, podman doesn‘t accept squid. |

Win11pro. There is a greater sign in the Explorer at the slotnumber of the Task. So, without finding the Slot number for the -dev Task in properties of boincmanager. |

No issues on linux. Regarding the squid HTTP proxy: CVMFS proxy: DIRECT No local HTTP proxy found. However the environment HTTP proxy was found that I set up in /usr/share/containers/containers.conf: Environment HTTP proxy: http://192.168.1.176:3128 I do see some output in the squid access.log |

How can I tell if I am running the latest version of the Podman executable? Will it automatically update to the latest version? If not, how can I determine if an update is needed? Thanks. |

Check your Event-Log. When the client starts, it should tell similar to this: Usable WSL distros: - boinc-buda-runner (WSL 2) (default) - OS: Alpine Linux (Alpine Linux v3.22) - Docker version 5.6.2 (podman) - BOINC WSL distro version 5 - Disk usage: 28.62 GB At the moment, WSL-distro version 5 should be the actual one |
