I am a little confused here. Based on a post in the SETI number crunching forum, I setup BOINC to run CMS-dev on my desktop (computer 616) which normally does not participate in any projects. Since then I keep reading about problems CMS-dev is having with broken agents etc. but except for some things I did on my own which resulted in two “Error while computing” messages and one “Abandoned” message, I seem to be able to crunch tasks and receive credit for them without a problem. I am not sure I should be however if there were agent problems. The only thing of note is that I am showing 85,000 plus seconds of run time and less than 10 seconds of CPU time which seems strange. At this point I am wondering if I am accomplishing anything at all, or if I am doing absolutely nothing and the reported credits are meaningless. Can someone enlighten me. |

I am confused too, also because my Windows 10 Home edition, updated from 8.1, has no working RDP and I cannot see the consoles. So I am flying blind. Tullio |

I used to have RDP in Windwos 8.1 and I could see all the consoles. Now I see only the logs. Instead, in CERN Summer Challenge, I see the consoles. Tullio |
