Have aborted CMS on 8 machines with ProxyError.

Now I have 1 running fine and one box with ProxyError so I will see if something develops with this ProxyError

Any news on this ?

Mine are also having the same problem and I have tried starting new jobs before and after rebooting machines. vLHC work is going fine.

and one box with ProxyError so I will see if something develops with this ProxyError

Meanwhile this box has recovered from this error and is crunching fine without any intervention from my side

Will bring up the next one and take a close look

Looks like something happened about 10:20am today as I'm no longer getting the proxy error.

Do you know if you did something your end or is the wind now blowing in the right direction ?

Nothing was done that I know about; I asked CERN if they knew anything but as far as I know haven't done anything themselves yet.
Belay that! Just got a message:
X came to my office to tell me about it. There was a race condition which blocked the creation for some users with multiple machines. It has been fixed and you can see the impact on the CMS jobs page.
This may explain some of the artefacts we've been seeing!

Excellent, always nice to have a reason rather than blame the weather !

Ah, this must be the famous Professor X.
