New native version v5.60
(Message 8154)
Posted 1 Sep 2023 by [AF>Le_Pommier] Jerome_C2005 Post: Hello All the tasks failing on that linux debian 10 host <core_client_version>7.14.2</core_client_version> It started to fail with v5.60 and is failing the same with 5.70. It was running fine with v5.21 but it seems the latest tasks I got then were from January 2022 ! On the other hand I don't think I changed anything on that debian except from applying the patches regularly, I think I saw something about CVMFS during an apt upgrade not long ago - one or two months maybe ? Are there some new requisites for this app to run native ? |

Posted 10 Feb 2019 by [AF>Le_Pommier] Jerome_C2005 Post: They all have the same 207 error. The weird thing in the log is that 2019-02-08 21:07:15 (10462): Guest Log: [INFO] Volunteer: [AF>Le_Pommier] Jerome_C2005 (175) It's kind of running, then more than 30 mn fly by and then boom. I have deactivated the app in the preference, thanks for the advice. |

And I can't find those Theory simulation that ran successfully neither (at least 7 tasks since February)... ?? |

Posted 25 Oct 2016 by [AF>Le_Pommier] Jerome_C2005 Post: Do you mean vLHC is hosted by an "external" laboratory ? I would have thought this was "inside" LHC infrastructure, somehow... Thanks for the nice video, ATM I probably only understood a portion of it, but that was nice ;) So the "good news" is that the issue has nothing to do with the application itself nor my machine, so that's good enough for me ! |

Posted 1 Feb 2016 by [AF>Le_Pommier] Jerome_C2005 Post: option 2++ with - sub-projects in prod - option to test beta WUs in the same project, for those interested - separate project for alpha testing, for those interested You can mix VB and no-VB sub-project as long as you clearly explain the requisites, and easy option on the project preference page to allow each user select / unselect its own projects (plus beta yes/no). All this on a profile basis (home / work / etc) like standard boinc setup, of course. Primegrid works very well like that, with a long list of sub-project with their own prerequisites (very detailed) and you can check precisely those you want to do. |
